Bounty Rewards
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Ranked matches in SOLANA ZERO have a bounty layer on top of normal rewards.
- Certain players become high-value WANTED targets.
- When you eliminate them, you earn an extra bounty reward on top of the match payout.
- Bounties are processed in near real time using the same ephemeral rollup stack as the core match logic.
Rewards are paid in $SOL or $SOLZ, depending on the event or mode.

Where Bounty Rewards Come From
Section titled “Where Bounty Rewards Come From”Bounties are funded from a dedicated bounty treasury vault.
- Every ranked match generates protocol fees.
- A fixed slice of those fees flows into the bounty treasury.
- Over time this treasury accumulates value and is used to pay out kill bounties.
As more matches are played, the bounty pool deepens, making top WANTED players worth more to hunt.
How You Earn Bounties
Section titled “How You Earn Bounties”Bounties are rewards for high-ranking leaderboard players. The more CP and match wins you accumulate, the higher your bounty—your bounty value is directly tied to your rank.
During eligible matches:
- A WANTED or high-value player enters your lobby.
- If you successfully eliminate them (or otherwise meet the bounty condition), a bounty is triggered.
- The bounty is calculated based on:
- The target’s WANTED rank / CP.
- Mode and any active modifiers.
- Size of the current bounty treasury.
- Your reward is then either:
- Credited in real time to your in-game balance, or
- Marked as claimable from your player profile.
When you kill a high-bounty target:
- You receive an immediate reward.
- The kill is announced and broadcast publicly (potentially on X, Discord, and Telegram in the future).
- The defeated player’s CP is reset.
The goal is that the bounty feels instant in-game, while still settling on-chain via the underlying rollup and Solana programs.
Allies and Traitor Mode
Section titled “Allies and Traitor Mode”Allies (guild-style groupings) are generally cooperative, but the bounty system supports high-risk plays through traitor mode.
- By default, Allies are on the same side and cannot freely farm each other for rewards.
- To attack an Ally, you must activate a traitor-mode item or equivalent mechanic.
- Once active:
- You can target former allies for their bounties.
- Other players, including previous allies, are allowed to hunt you down.
This is intentionally high risk, high reward:
- You gain access to extra bounty opportunities.
- But you also become a valid target for everyone else in the match.
Design and exact numbers here are subject to tuning during beta.
Notes and Future Adjustments
Section titled “Notes and Future Adjustments”The bounty system will evolve alongside:
- Overall match economy balance.
- WANTED leaderboard scaling (e.g. top 200 brackets).
- Guild / Allies features and governance.
Exact percentages, thresholds, and item details may change over time, but the core idea stays the same:
High-impact players create high-value bounties, and the whole ecosystem is rewarded for taking them down.
