CP (Contribution Points)
Overview
Section titled “Overview”CP (Contribution Points, Criminal Poses, Credit Points, etc) is the ranked score that measures how much impact you have in SOLANA ZERO’s competitive modes. It is currently not a tradable token – it is an internal metric used to drive:
- Your position on the WANTED leaderboard.
- How threatening your profile looks to other players.
- Future world systems that care about long-term performance.
Think of CP as your long-horizon record of how dangerous and effective you are in the arena.
What CP Is and Is Not
Section titled “What CP Is and Is Not”CP is:
- A persistent score attached to your account.
- Updated from on-chain match events (wins, kills, objectives, evacuations, etc.).
- Used to sort players on the WANTED leaderboard in near real time.
CP is not:
- A token you can buy, sell, or transfer on a DEX.
- A governance token.
- A fixed “MMR number” that never changes – it can move up or down over time.
For actual tokens, see:
How You Earn CP
Section titled “How You Earn CP”You gain CP primarily by winning matches and placing high in ranked modes. CP rewards match outcome and survival, not just kills or profits. Examples:
- Winning or placing highly in Battle Royale–style modes.
- Being one of the last survivors, even with zero kills.
- Successfully evacuating with a large HP pool when it matters.
This means a player who evacuates early with a big pool can earn significant CP even with zero kills, because survival and position matter more than combat stats.
After each ranked match:
- The match resolves through the on-chain runtime.
- The system calculates your CP change based on placement and survival.
- Your CP is updated and the WANTED leaderboard is refreshed.
Because this loop runs continuously, your CP and your rank can change moment to moment as games finish across the network.
How CP Is Used
Section titled “How CP Is Used”CP currently focuses on the WANTED ecosystem:
- Higher CP → higher placement on the WANTED leaderboard.
- Being near the top can increase your bounty visibility and potential reward share.
- As you enter and climb the leaderboard, you become eligible for incentive programs funded from each match pool (see WANTED Leaderboard).
Design direction over time may also connect CP to:
- Access to certain ranked brackets or events.
- Eligibility for future world-power roles.

Inactivity and Decay
Section titled “Inactivity and Decay”To keep rankings fresh, CP systems may:
- Flag you as inactive after a period of no matches.
- Reduce or pause certain reward flows when inactive.
- Apply light CP decay over long stretches of inactivity so that active players can overtake you.
Exact thresholds and decay curves are still subject to tuning and may evolve during beta.
