Login & Ranked Setup

SOLZ supports two login paths. Both create one SOLZ player account and use wallets controlled by the player, but they prepare Ranked transactions differently.

An external-wallet account means the player logged in by connecting an existing self-custody wallet such as Phantom, Solflare, Jupiter, or Nightly. It does not mean a second SOLZ account or an account controlled by another company. The connected wallet remains the player’s Main Wallet.

Creating or restoring a WaaS account can take a few seconds after login. SOLZ does not receive its private signing material. Dynamic provides the user-owned wallet infrastructure, and the player remains responsible for its funds.

When the player logs in with Google, X, Telegram, or another supported provider, Dynamic creates or restores an embedded wallet. That embedded wallet is already the player’s Main Wallet and signs Ranked actions directly. It does not need a separate Rank registration transaction.

Before selecting Find Match or taking a seat in a Hosted Room, keep at least 0.02 SOL in the embedded Main Wallet. This is execution float for possible on-chain work; it is separate from the selected match stake.

When the player logs in by connecting an existing wallet, that external wallet remains the permanent Main Wallet. Dynamic also creates or restores a Rank Signer inside the same SOLZ account. The player therefore has one account with two public wallet addresses:

  1. The external Main Wallet, which remains the permanent player identity, owns Reserved Balance, receives payouts, and approves sensitive setup.
  2. The Rank Signer, which handles permitted routine Ranked transactions without repeatedly opening the external-wallet popup.

Select Fund & Register Rank during initial setup:

  1. Main Wallet approves an exact 0.02 SOL transfer to Rank Signer.
  2. After that transfer confirms, Main Wallet approves Rank registration.
  3. Registration records the Rank Signer’s public address as the permitted executor for that Main Wallet.

Creating the current SessionAuthority account costs approximately 0.001425 SOL in rent and a normal transaction fee. Keep about 0.003 SOL available in Main Wallet during registration so small fee or rent differences do not cause the transaction to fail.

If funding succeeds but registration is rejected, use Register Rank to retry only registration. Do not fund another 0.02 SOL.

The system may select an eligible roster player to submit the on-chain match creation transaction. That work currently costs around 0.01 SOL, so the larger 0.02 SOL floor provides room for execution and fee variation.

The floor applies even when:

  • the match uses another token;
  • Reserved Balance already covers the stake; or
  • the player plans to join a Hosted Room instead of automated matchmaking.

The recording includes a failed registration attempt caused by insufficient Main Wallet SOL. Network costs can change, so treat displayed fees as an estimate and follow the balance requested by the current client.

Next: Reserved Balance.
