NFT Heroes (Planned)
Status: Exploratory / not final. Everything here is subject to change.
High-level Idea
Section titled “High-level Idea”NFT Heroes are envisioned as legendary characters that emerge from:
- Major world events.
- Boss encounters.
- Long-running progression arcs.
Instead of being sold directly as static NFTs, Heroes are meant to grow out of gameplay.
Event-based Hero Pieces
Section titled “Event-based Hero Pieces”One design direction uses event pieces or fragments:
- Participate in special events or raids (for example, themed boss fights).
- Earn hero pieces tied to that event or character.
- Combine enough pieces to mint or upgrade a Hero NFT.
Names, bosses, and exact mechanics (e.g. “Boss Pump”, “zor0”, etc.) are still in flux and will be tested in limited runs before any mainline release.
What a Hero NFT Could Represent
Section titled “What a Hero NFT Could Represent”Possible directions (none guaranteed):
- Visual identity – unique skins, intros, or VFX.
- Narrative weight – representation in lore or seasonal events.
- Economy hooks – non-pay-to-win interactions with ranked modes or future systems.
- Unique abilities – each hero may have distinct skills or traits that set them apart in gameplay.
The goal is to avoid raw stat pay-to-win while still making Heroes feel meaningful and scarce.
Store and Tradeability
Section titled “Store and Tradeability”Once minted, Hero NFTs will be:
- Tradeable on open marketplaces like OpenSea and other Solana NFT platforms.
- Listable in an in-game store where players can buy and sell Heroes.
- Subject to market dynamics, with rarity and abilities influencing value.
Design Still in Motion
Section titled “Design Still in Motion”Because this is a “next” feature:
- Drop rates, supply caps, and utility are not locked in.
- Community feedback and live data will decide what ships.
When designs harden, this page will be updated with:
- Final minting rules.
- On-chain program references.
- Links to live collections and marketplaces.
